How do I get to the Ecolodge? You can get here by walking, private vehicle, or public transport. We are located in the Coffee Region, in the La Española Vereda of the municipality of Córdoba, Quindío. We can provide you with detailed directions to our location, or you can search for us on Google Maps. If you are coming by public transport, we can coordinate an additional pick-up service from the nearest bus terminal or airport. Contact us to inform us of your arrival.

What is the climate like at the Ecolodge, and what type of clothing should I bring? The climate is temperate and humid, with average temperatures ranging from 16°C to 24°C. There may be intermittent rain, especially in the afternoon. We recommend wearing comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying clothing, as well as a waterproof jacket or windbreaker. For nighttime activities, such as amphibian and reptile observation walks, it is ideal to wear long pants and hiking boots or slip-resistant shoes. Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, and insect repellent.

What languages are spoken at the Ecolodge? The staff at the Ecolodge speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese, so both national and international visitors will feel well attended to. Bilingual guides can also be arranged for activities.

Does the Ecolodge have Wi-Fi and internet? Yes, only the “El Porvenir” cabin has free Wi-Fi. However, we invite our guests to disconnect and enjoy the experience of nature.

Does the Ecolodge have electricity 24/7? Yes, there is electricity available 24/7, but we encourage responsible use of energy to preserve the natural environment.

What activities are available during a day trip (pasadía)? During the day trip, you can enjoy various experiences such as guided nature walks, birdwatching, flora and fauna experiences, and visits to the coffee farm. To learn more, visit our experiences page.

Is it necessary to make a reservation? Yes, a reservation is required at least 5 days in advance, along with a 50% deposit to guarantee your accommodation or day trip experience. You can easily make your reservation through our direct WhatsApp contact.

Can I bring my pet during my stay? Yes, we are pet-friendly. Your pet must have up-to-date vaccination records and must always wear a collar and leash. Aggressive pets are not allowed.

Is the day trip suitable for all ages? Yes, the day trip is designed to be a family-friendly experience. However, some walking activities may require moderate physical effort. If you have concerns about accessibility, feel free to contact us for more information.

Are there options for people with reduced mobility? Some areas of the trail may not be accessible for people with reduced mobility due to the nature of the terrain. If you need more details about accessibility, please contact us before making your reservation.

Can a reservation be canceled or modified? A reservation can be canceled, but the deposit is non-refundable. The client will have 1 year to use the paid amount for a new reservation.

What safety measures are taken during activities? The safety of our visitors is a priority. We have trained guides who follow safety protocols at all times. Additionally, you will be covered by insurance during activities, which are designed to be safe and responsible toward the environment.

What is the cost of the day trip? The cost of the day trip varies depending on the group size and selected activities. You can consult our updated rates by contacting us directly.

Does the day trip contribute to the conservation of the local biodiversity? Yes, Moira Ecolodge actively participates in the conservation of local biodiversity and community development in the region. By participating, you are directly supporting the preservation of local ecosystems.

Are there discounts for a certain number of nights? Yes, there is an additional discount that applies after the second night.
